Persimmon and Tangerine Smoothie

2.12.2015

So today was yet another grey day and with me dealing with aches and pains from my yoga and exercise sessions I decided that I would like a smoothie that was uplifting as well as anti-inflammatory to soothe my tired muscles. Having recently bought some seasonal persimmon fruit, it was time to create another delicious smoothie. I added some turmeric spice to the smoothie as well as some cinnamon and fresh stem ginger as these all have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immune boosting properties. The resulting vibrant colour was also great for lifting the mood and making you feel more refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the day.
